Murray’s Art and Framing offer a range of easels to support your next creative endeavour. Whether you are setting up a studio, planning to paint en plein air (outdoors) or trying to find an easel to suit our favourite canvas or paper, we can help you find the perfect match. We have selected stock from the following brands depending on availability; Winsor & Newton, Conda, Jasco, Art Spectrum and Mabef. We stock easels for every application and for every artist.

Studio Easels
A-Frame easels are suitable for oils, acrylics, pastel or drawing, and pack away flat for storage. H-Frame easels are stable studio easels for the permanent setup, suitable for oils, acrylics, pastel or drawing. A Tilting easel is suitable for watercolours or drawing as it can be laid flat and used at any angle, it can be used either sitting or standing.

Field Easels
These include tripod style made of aluminum or wood with telescopic or collapsible legs. We also have French box style easels with collapsible legs, a box for storage and a lid that folds up to act as a drawing surface, perfect for sketching or watercolour en plein air.

Table-Top Easels
Perfect for those with limited space or artists who prefer to sit while working. Table top easels include small H-frame styles (a miniature version of the floor easels) and box easels, which are suitable for painting, drawing or sketching and make a perfect travel case to store everything you need with a carry handle. Great for the travelling artist or for attending classes.

Drawing Boards
Available in A2 and A3 sizes, this no fuss option for table top use is easy to set up and pack up.

Lightboxes
These illuminated, horizontal drawing surfaces are available in A3 and A4 size and perfect for image tracing, animation, technical drawing and more. New LED technology eliminates that old "hot box" effect.

Display Easels
Made for the purpose of displaying finished artwork or signage, these simple designed easels come in timber, metal and plastic and can hold various weights and sizes.
